3.03.10 - Aloha e'erybody. We have been working on graphics and duplication projects for Lotuslight Productions as well as helping to organize the formation of their new band. The first rehearsal is coming up on the 10th and we are excited. We are also working on a new musical collaboration with Rick and Tiana and are making good progress. Aloha to Christy's Mom who is visiting us from the great state of Texas.

2.13.10 - Hey Everybody. We have been working on music for a few different projects in the past few weeks including Versatile, Dominick Bernal, and new songs from Jason Brown as well. We have also been busy with graphic design and CD duplication and printing for Lotuslight Productions, a New-Age/World label and GMU Music Group, a Hip-Hop/Rap label. 1.30.10 - Wow. Awesome violinist Andrea Walls came in to record the final tracks for Dominick Bernal's EP. She was great. There is nothing quite like the sound of a good violin to add to acoustic music. Now we are on to the mixing phase of the project. We will post new songs as soon as we can get 'em finished.
**Engineering note.
We set up to record the violin using two powered mics of different sizes, a large diaphragm at waist level and a small diaphragm at head level to get rich stereo. I then EQ'ed each side a lil' different and moved the left track back a few mils to fatten the mix.
1.23.10 - Aloha music junkies. Great news! A band we have been tryin' to get in the studio for a long time has finally decided they want the rest of the world to share what we in Maui have been lucky enough to have all to ourselves. I am proud to announce VERSATILE has begun their first few sessions and is making solid progress in their debut recording effort. We will definitely keep e'erybody posted on the progression of their project. Also, Dominick Bernal is nearing completion on his impending EP and will be bringing his violinist this week to record the last of the music before we begin the final mix. 1.14.10 - Aloha Peeps. My partner and I just want to say thank you very much to all the people have helped and continue to help bring Maui's Music Scene into a more deserved focus in our community. To all the journalists, radio DJ's, club owners, promoters, producers, engineers, sound and lighting crews, music stores, street teams, and all the musicians themselves, but mostly to all you music fans who go out and support the cause, we wanna give you all a big, fat, juicy, wet kiss right on the lips. Fair warning. Seriously though, we can't imagine a world without the gift of sweet, live music to tickle our ears and fondle our brains. Thank you all.

1.10.10 - Aloha Y'all. We hope e'erybody had a great holiday season and are enjoying the brand new year. It's funny how an act as simple as switching calenders can give you such a blast of hopeful, positive energy. 2009 was a challenging year in many ways for pretty much everyone on the planet unless you're an arms dealer or own a liquor store, however, what doesn't kill us, only makes us stranger; ...and on that note, let me be the first to wish you all a Strange New Year. Let's go out there and get all weird, after all, what have we got to lose?
12.12.09 - We hope everyone is having a happy and safe holidaze season. We have been working on new graphics packages for Lotuslight Productions' new upcoming releases "Jivatma" and "Broken". Christy has also been designing newspaper ads and promotional flyers for some local businesses. On the music side, Jason has been busy in the studio with his own projects as well as working with Torryadore on his "Beam Me Up", a tribute to William Shatner and the original Star Trek TV series. Also, a very talented and big-drawing local favorite band, who will remain nameless until the official announcement, has expressed an interest in recording their next effort here at our studio. We will add new song samples as soon as they're mastered and ready. Peace on Y'all.

10.07.09 - Allright Y'all. The newly renovated studio is up and running and we have a couple of projects in the works. Torryadore is recording a song he wrote about Star Trek to be presented to William Shatner at his December 15th performance at the Hard Rock Cafe here in Maui. If you have a chance to see this show, it'll be a gas. Also, we are working on some collaborative material with Lotuslight Productions in the studio as well as providing graphics and printing CD's and cases. More to come.
