Met with Rick and Tiana Thom today about their upcoming release, "Reflections -meditation series 3", an hour long meditation piece featuring Rick on Sarod.
Christy is also designing, printing and cutting business cards for Lotuslight, hairstylist Darlynn and redesigning our own new cards.

Jason recorded more tracks for "Washed Away" including bass, keys, and electric rhythm guitars. Main vocals, lead guitar and harmonies are all that's left.

Dayton and Kawika of Maui roots band "Versatile", put the finishing vocal tracks on their first song for thier new demo. The song is called "Shine Your Light" and it's awesome. We'll keep posting their progress. Also had a big, fat, juicy jam session with Austin, Chris, Jonny, me, and a great drummer named Scott.

Jason and Chandra been in the studio a few times this week working on their first collaboration, "Grace", written and sung by Chandra. Her awesome voice incites wonder and nostalgia alongside the techno-pop sounds she and Jason are creating. Samples coming soon!!

Jason's sister, Shannon, is here for a visit from Houston, TX for a few days. She brought thier moms' ashes out for the next phase of her journey, where she is to be made into a living reef and shall rejoin the circle of life. R.I.P. Deborah Ann Austin

Jason got to go see the new bad ass band Moth at Stella Blues Cafe in Kihei last night. Guests Owaila and Order of the White Rose opened and all three bands rocked the house. Jason and I did a small run of CD's and inserts for Moth to sell at their show. Wish I'd been there for sure!! Moth members are James Bowersox (drums, keyboards) and James "Cotton" Hartman (guitar). We've been busy this week with new graphics and recording projects as well as redesigning our website.
Dizzy Daz put down some slammin' flows and we did some mixing for his project. GodBaby also worked on their effort in ecclectic electronica.

Jason and I hope everyone had a fun and safe Cinco de Drinko this year.
We've been a little busy in the studio the last few days. Yesterday Colleen Riley, a friend of Elaine Ryan, came over to start her recording project. She is a soulful and folksy songwriter who plays guitar. We also have Dizzy Daz coming to work on his vocals this afternoon. Our good friend Eric "Repus" has been over for the last few days making some fun rock/ska/electronic/etc stuff in the studio with Jason.

Jason jammed on the bass with some of the guys tonight, Chris tearing up the guitar, Austin belting out kick ass vocals while guest Brooks (formerly of the band Product) did a drive-by drummin'.

Jason has been writing lyrics for SoulGasm's "Corporation Takeover" as well as recording vocal tracks. Also in the studio, GodBaby worked on their high-energy, pumping Goa/Psy/Trance sound. Pinkie has also been designing over art for "Corporation Takeover" and Lotuslight Productions' "Fall to Earth" by Jivatma.

Aloha all!! A lot has been going on since our last post. Firstly, I'd like to say break a leg to Elaine Ryan who is in the top rankings for the Lilith Fair in Vancouver, Canada right now. You go girl!
Colleen Riley has been over a couple more times to work on her project, as well as Corey "Dizzy Daz" to put down some more vocals. We are also looking forward to meeting with our friend, Junior Laquesta, and his band about their demo CD. We'll keep you updated on everyone's progress.
